Tod (Argentina, 1992) is a visual artist whose work unfolds through contemporary painting, exploring the emotional complexity of the human experience within urban environments. Although he initially trained in medicine, his connection to art began at an early age — born from a deep inner need to express what couldn’t be said in words. Over time, painting became his true path: an intimate and direct language to navigate internal and external realities.
His work blends elements of realism with layers of abstraction, texture, and color. Fueled by the energy of the streets, the body, human relationships, and emotional tension, his paintings are marked by contrasts — silence and noise, tenderness and rage, what fades and what endures. Each piece becomes an emotional testimony, a memory translated into image.
Tod draws inspiration from urban stillness, human connection, and the marks that time leaves on people. He works primarily with acrylics and mixed media, prioritizing expressiveness over technical perfection. His style has been described by viewers and critics as visceral, honest, and poetic.
He has participated in both solo and group exhibitions and continues to develop his work with an introspective perspective that also engages with the social context around him. He currently lives and works in Santa Fe, Argentina, and seeks to bring his art into spaces where it can move, question, and accompany.
